Paul D. Bryson
Paul focuses his practice on problem solving and dispute resolution in a variety of areas relating to small to medium-sized businesses. Representative clients include medical practices, health clubs, and construction contractors.
Paul uses his experience working for judges in the federal district court, the Ohio Supreme Court, the Franklin County Municipal Court, and the Fairfield County Common Pleas Court to advise clients realistically and strategically in litigation and day to day operations. In addition, Paul advises businesses and corporations of various sizes in resolving disputes, handling internal investigations, negotiating contracts, preventing liability, and resolving matters without expensive litigation. Using his knowledge of health care law, Paul advises executives, physicians, and staff-level employees in complying with complex regulations, negotiating high-value contracts, and preventing exposure to liability.
Paul has a stellar academic background, graduating first in his law school class and serving on the editorial board of the Capital University Law Review. But Paul is also grounded in a strong practical work ethic. He worked as a school custodian through his undergraduate studies and much of law school, even inspiring one school to create the Paul Bryson Award for Persistence. Paul strives to serve his clients with both sides of his personality--the smart lawyer and the hands-on worker.
In his free time, Paul enjoys reading, baking artisan breads, fishing Ohio’s lakes and streams, and playing at the park with his daughter. Paul previously served as pro bono counsel to CHLOE, Inc., a local nonprofit organization that assists young single mothers in developing parenting skills and self-sufficiency and actively participates in Central Ohio legal clinics. Paul also served as Secretary on the board of Young Scholars Prep School, a community school located in the Linden area.
